The story

Quieter alerts.
Real threats.

Cheap detectors bark at every automatic-door sensor and lane-control loop. The RadarLite learns the stationary signals on your daily commute and mutes them, while keeping live radar and laser alerts sharp. The cabin stays calm. You only hear it when it matters.

FAQ

Questions about
RadarLite.

Ask support →
Is it legal to use a radar detector?+
In most US states, yes — for personal (non-commercial) vehicles. Virginia and Washington DC are exceptions. Check your local laws. RadarLite is legal in all states where civilian use is permitted.
How does it cut down false alerts?+
A GPS-aware filter learns which stationary alerts to mute on your regular routes — automatic-door sensors at grocery stores, traffic-flow sensors, etc. — while keeping live threats sharp. The more you drive a route, the smarter it gets.
Does it detect laser (lidar)?+
Yes. RadarLite picks up the most common laser/lidar guns used by US enforcement. Note: laser detection is by design reactive — by the time you hear the alert, you've already been targeted. Drive at the limit.
Does it require an app or subscription?+
No app needed for basic detection. Optional companion app for routes and history. Zero subscription.
Can I install it myself?+
Yes — windshield suction or visor clip, 12V plug in the cigarette lighter. Five minutes. For hardwired installs, pair it with our Hardwire Kit.
Will it work with my motorcycle?+
Yes, with a 12V accessory tap. The unit itself is small enough for a tank-bag mount; we recommend a Bluetooth earpiece for audio alerts since the cabin tone won't cut through wind noise.

Quieter cabin.
Sharper alerts.

30-day trial. If it doesn't keep your drive calmer, send it back. We cover return shipping.
